Baseball Hitting Drills K.I.S.S. Method (Keep It Super Simple)
"This Site Has Awesome Coaching Tips!" I know the baseball hitting drills headline above might make you think a little... The K.I.S.S. method really means Keep It Simple Stupid, but I didn't want to offend you right a the top of the page. You may have clicked away from the page and not found these awesome drills!
Baseball doesn't have to be complicated for young ball players! The K.I.S.S. method is just a way of remembering that keeping it simple is the BEST way to teach youth baseball players about the game of baseball.
Sometimes it is just using simple baseball vocabulary that helps youth players understand things more. Be sure to read about the One Word That Will Make You Sound Like a Baseball Expert. The word "Stay" is a simple word that kids understand when teaching baseball hitting drills.
Below are some links to easy youth baseball drills that you can do anywhere! All you need for most of these youth baseball drills would be the appropriate youth baseball equipment. Baseball Bats, baseball nets, and maybe a tee is all you need.
After reading through these hitting drills, let me know what you think by sending me a message using the "Contact Me" link. You can also send me any of your simple drills for me to post!
If you have a great youth baseball drill that you use, please SHARE it with us by filling out the "Favorite Drill" form below. If you do, you will have your own page on My-Youth-Baseball.com and added a quality resource also.

Hitting Drills
Hitting Stride Drills - Learning how to stride correctly is one of the top skills players need to learn at young age. Stepping in the bucket is a huge problem and must be overcome. Come in and watch a good video on baseball stride drills.
Fence Drill - The fence drill is a simple drill, if done correctly, will help your player develop a quicker swing and teach him how to stay inside the baseball.
Youth Baseball Soft Toss Drill - Soft Toss is a basic drill that ALL players need to learn how to use. Teach your players the correct way.
Youth Baseball Front Toss Drill - I love this drill because it gives players a realistic point of view of where the ball is coming from and it is simple to throw consistent strikes.
NOTE: Most of these drills can be used in conjunction with the Insider Bat. The Insider Bat is one of the hottest new baseball hitting tools out. I would recommend all baseball coaches and parents have one of these. Very simple to use and can be used about anywhere. For more information, go to my Insider Bat page.
What Is Your Baseball Swing's Weakness? What Baseball Hitting Drills Will Help?
Many baseball players know they have a certain weakness or two in their baseball swing. When I was a youth baseball player, my problem areas were a front-arm bar and not squashing the bug. What are yours?
Watch this video to see if it can help your swing. This baseball video will not demonstrate baseball drills in detail, but it may give you a pretty good idea of how to fix your problem areas!
Be sure to read about the Insider Bat and how easy that hitting trainer is to use and fix some simple batting problems. I have two of these and they are extremely helpful and very easy to use!
