Slow pitch softball is the most popular sport that is played in America. Millions of adults and kids head out to the slowpitch softball diamonds every day to play the sport. Some people play just for fun, while others play very competitively.

The biggest difference is the size of the ball that is used. A softball is much larger than a baseball. The other difference is that, in slowpitch softball, the pitcher under-hands and lobs the ball to the hitter. In baseball, the pitcher throws it overhand and hard.
